that is of the ‘i hate the idea of them together’ and the ‘i hate the way their teenaged fans imagine them together’ varieties, because it made me think about what i liked about them together, and it’s left me free to enjoy shipping them in my own way and not give a fuck about the hierarchy of approved fannish interpretations :p
